Meet Brian Clavin
Brian Clavin is an experienced business person with more than 35 years in the Marine, Property, Data Centre,Technology and Energy Sectors both in the US and here in the UK.
With positions at the Plymouth Development Corporation, Mobil Global Gas and Power ( now part of Exxon), StorageNetworks and BT in their Data Centre Division his background and experience have provided him with a solid foundation in his collaboration with EOS which dates back more than 8 years to 2017.
With EOS, Brian has led and continues to lead the engagements in the Data Centre Sector, the UK Public Sector-(with a particular focus on the NHS) and also with UK Industry.
Importantly, Brian has introduced and facilitated the Large-Scale EOS BESS Project in S. Wales which has been under construction since 2023 and which is due to go-live in October/November of this year. When completed, it will be one of the largest Batteries in Europe. ( 349 MegaWatts). **The CAPEX of this Project is well into 9 figures
Brian and EOS have also won their first project in the NHS and have BESS+ Proposals out to more than 15 other NHS England Trusts to deliver Cost and Carbon Savings to each of them. They are also deeply engaged with National Services Scotland (NSS) to allow procurement of EOS BESS+ Solutions for NHS Scotland and the wider Scottish Public Sector.
Brian also identified an important UK Public Sector Procurement Framework. (The Lexica “ Net Zero Carbon Delivery Framework—NZCDF). And in collaboration with EOS secured the position of Approved Supplier on the Framework, thereby allowing EOS to be chosen and contracts agreed for their BESS+ Solutions across the wider UK Public Sector.
